Jagdish Kaur (Ms)Development Officer, TEC Unit, PS21 Office
PSD provides a nurturing environment for continuous learning and teamwork. It also helps to develop officers' competencies and capabilities. Having been with PSD for 7 years, I have gained much knowledge and experience in various areas of my work. My contributions are recognised and I believe in giving my best by being proactive. I enjoy working with my colleagues as they are very friendly and helpful. In the next few years I hope to explore new areas of work and seek ways to further develop my capabilities.

Eugene ChuaSenior Research Analyst, Strategic Planning and Research Department Working in PSD has provided me the opportunity to work with many people from other ministries. The collaboration gave me an insight into the workings of the other ministries and impressed upon me the importance and impact of PSD's policies on the rest of the Public Service. The work in PSD is also very challenging and there is always a lot to learn here. Fortunately, I have fantastic colleagues in PSD, who are ever so willing to share their knowledge and lend a helping hand. With friendly people and ample developmental opportunities, I certainly find PSD a great place to work in.

Life here is a refreshing change as I am continually energised by the work and people - everyday brings a new set of pleasures, even if it is work. My colleagues are a youthful, eclectic and creative bunch and are really a joy to work with. Professionally, I find meaning in the work I do and I truly appreciate PSD's strong learning culture. Its commitment to training and in providing development opportunities is a clear example of PSD walking the talk.
Work is interesting, meaningful and fun, and I LIKE! :)

Toh Boon Kwan
Assistant Director (Training and Development), Leadership Development Department
PSD is one of the few places in the Public Service that provides a vantage point to gain insights into the high-level workings of our country. PSD's flat hierarchy provides its officers with the privilege to work closely with our leaders and learn from some of the best brains this country has to offer. I am honoured to be a member of Team PSD. We work together to develop a first class Public Service worthy of Singapore.
