Sourcing, grooming and retaining talent remains a top priority for the Public Service. Every year, some 60 scholarships are granted by the Public Service Commission (PSC) by way of bringing key talent into the Public Service. Scholars are deployed throughout the Service through a four-year management associates scheme before they are considered for the Administrative Service, the premier service scheme in the Civil Service.

Leadership development programmes are available to grow leaders. Officers with high potential are given opportunities to rise and shine even as they are being groomed. All leaders are imbued with shared perspectives so that they can lead and manage with clear and focused objective to move the Public Service forward in serving the people.
