SPO provides training and consultancy services to public sector agencies which wish to use scenario planning.

Our Scenario Planning Workshops provide participants with an in-depth introduction to scenario planning methodology. Through a blend of theory and hands-on practice, participants gain first-hand experience in developing scenarios, learning practical tools and tips to integrate scenario thinking into their organisations' strategic processes. To optimise learning, general or client-specific case topics may be used.

These Scenario Planning Workshops are co-organised by SPO and the Civil Service College's Institute of Policy Development (IPD).

SPO also conducts customised briefings and training sessions on scenario planning, according to the client organisation's needs.

Apart from workshops and briefings, SPO offers consultancy and process facilitation services to client organisations who wish to engage us on specific scenario planning projects.

2005 National Scenarios
The 2005 National Scenarios comprise three scenarios with a timeframe of 15 years (2005 - 2020)

2002 National Scenarios
The 2002 National Scenarios are intended to provide three plausible accounts of what the world would look like in 2025, 23 years from today.

1999 National Scenarios
The scenarios cover the period 1999 to 2004. Although the timeframe of 5 years is relatively short, many of the short-term issues explored have long-term implications.

1997 National Scenarios
These are scenarios for Singapore. The scenarios are told from the perspective of the year 2020.
