Reply to ST Forum Letter “Make it easier to give online feedback to government agencies”

We thank Mr Huang Wenshan for his feedback on the difficulties he encountered when submitting video evidence through government feedback portals, “Make it easier to give online feedback to government agencies” (Oct 21).

We agree that providing feedback to government agencies should be made easier, as such feedback helps agencies identify issues on the ground and improve their services.

We will work with the relevant agencies to review the issues raised by Mr Huang, including how video uploads can be better supported, whether existing file requirements remain appropriate, and how the feedback submission experience can be made more consistent and intuitive across government digital services. In the meantime, members of the public who encounter difficulties submitting large files through online feedback forms may contact the relevant agency through its published feedback channels, where alternative arrangements can be considered.
