Public Policy Seminar 2017

The Public Policy Seminar (PPS) brings together tertiary students from polytechnics/universities who are keen to learn about policy making in the global digital economy. Set in Singapore’s national policy context, the PPS gives you the opportunity to gain insights into how the Public Service uses Big Data in decision making, understand the issues faced by policy-makers and the trade-offs involved, and grasp the complexities in designing citizen-centric policies.

Get up close and personal with Mr. Tan Chuan-Jin, Speaker of Parliament, as he shares the innovations and multi-agency collaborations that support public policy developments in the manpower and social sectors.

You can also sign up for an afternoon of interesting workshops, participate in lively discussions and hands-on activities, and walk away with a fuller appreciation of public policy making.

The PPS will take place on Saturday, 7 October 2017, at the Lifelong Learning Institute. Register now at: and get right down to the heart of policy making with us! Registration closes on 22 September 2017, 2359.
