A direct translation from the Japanese term "shinrin yoku", forest bathing is a form of eco-therapy that involves basking in nature, away from the fast-paced world.

Unlike hiking, no set destinations and goals exist in forest bathing. Forest therapy guides conduct forest bathing sessions in parks, gardens, or nature spots, combining it with meditation or tea ceremonies to facilitate a more therapeutic experience.
